does/has anyone make a real carbon fiber case? i would think that it would offer one of the best possible bend/damage protection for the size.

if im not mistaken, carbon fiber is supposed to be stronger than steel right?

A friend of mine purchased a genuine carbon fibre case from eBay - he has had to remove it as he said it killed his Cellular signal!

Yup, carbon fibre is not very radio-transparent. Bad case material, IMO. Don't get caught up in the hype.

wow, did not know that. since carbon fiber isnt metal, i thought it would not interfere with cell/radio signals.

thanks for the info. now back on the hunt for a good case :)

Evutec (http://www.evutec.com) had a cool kevlar case for the iPhone 5, we'll have to see how good the 6 is:

Really need someone to step up and innovate on the carbon fiber front to produce a very thin (.5mm or less thick) case which would be more rigid than steel.

Would be willing to pay $100 for a case like this.

i am too.. but to be honest, i think itll cost more that $100. :(

still waiting on this company to respond to request for eta on 6 plus.

does anyone have experience with this case on the 6?

just curious as to why someone would want to put a plastic carbon fiber case on there aluminum iphone. i thought that was one of the key points to buying an iphone was to get a way from the plastic stuff.:D

i dont think it's plastic. unless i skimmed wrong, it's real carbon kevlar. should improve rigidity of the phone.

How much would you pay for this hideous thing?

I had the carbon fiber shell from Evutec for my 5S and I LOVED IT! I emailed Evutec asking if they will create a carbon fiber shell for the 6+ and below is the response I got...

my point was that carbon fiber is part of the plastic family. do your research and google it.

even so, it would be exponentially stronger. that's my point.
