Does anyone know a program that will convert real media to another form like avi or mpeg on a mac??

Thanks in advance

I tried that first actually... When I open the file it says (next to the 'open' button) "Binary file (standard input) matches"

and under the source format it says no video, no audio

I remember reading somewhere that opensource codec for Real files is good for only the old formats, but I don't know if that's the case here.

If it is only the audio that you'd like to convert, you could probably use Soundflower as a "fake" output device and a recording software, such as Garageband or Audacity. If you need the video as well, then obviously I am no help to you, sorry...
