I'd like to know as well, I get the occasional .rm videos, I don't want to install a 3rd party app just for the odd one here and there.

You don't want to use a third-party app, but you want to use a third-party codec :rolleyes: If you want to view Real content, you have to use the RealPlayer.

Well using a codec so QT can play .rm videos is not exactly the same as downloading a 3rd party app like Real :rolleyes: Well I'll just keep doing what I have been doing... not view them.

Well...yeah. So you can see .rm files, without the spyware.

If you want to view Real content, you have to use the RealPlayer.

No, you don't. MPlayer will play .rm files if you have the codecs installed, though it doesn't seem to work with all .rm files...or maybe I don't have everything installed properly, dunno.
