Hi all. New to this forum but I'm hoping someone can help me.

I've been using Real Player and the Real Player downloader to download YouTube video clips, and until yesterday all was fine. Yesterday evening however, the downloader decided to stop working and now just sits there doing nothing when I play a YouTube clip. Real Player itself works fine.

I've already trashed and reinstalled Real Player twice but to no avail. The odd thing is every time I've reinstalled it it has remembered the clips I'd been playing before I trashed it. Could this be a corrupt preference file?

Thanks for any help or info.

Moving an appllication to the trash won't do much, uninstall it with Appcleaner or delete all releated files yourself. You could also use another service to download YouTube videos.

Thanks for that.

I'll probably just use Real Player and forget about the downloader TBH.
