Hey, do you guys know if there is a real player plug in or a codec for quicktime? I dislike the real player app, and like just having one app to handle all.

Thanks!

u need to read OP's question before answer
real video is real's copyright product, as far as i know, neither flip4mac nor perian can play .rm/.rmvb file
as for play real video/audio file, realplayer is a nice app.

I already have qt pro with perian, divx, flip4mac plug ins, but I guess real player will have to be the odd one out.

Thanks for the replies:)

As far as I know there is no way to play rm files in quicktime (though you may be able to purchase a codec from REAL). There is a free codec for converting TO quicktime, but it takes a ton of searching to find it (I've had to get it three times, and each time it's taken me close to an hour to finally track it down, I really should learn to bookmark things).
