How do I copy a CD? I only have one drive, do I need to copy it to my HD first? I am new to mac, so try not to laugh too hard!:D

Quick answer
Make an image of the cd, then burn the image to a blank CDR/RW.
Simply dragging and dropping it on the desktop and then back won’t do.

Actually, it will work if you do this:

Create a new folder on your desktop (for sanity).

Copy the CD into it by dragging the contents of the CD into it.

Flip your medias.

Copy the contents of the folder onto the CD icon as if it were a hard drive.

Drag the unburned cd to Trash as if to eject and whoops! Burn Icon! No trash!

Answer the question, and your burnin'!
