Why is your own car always at the back of the starting grid? It's easy to win from the back in the early races, but in the later races it becomes a nightmare winning any races from the back because the leader has an unassailable lead by the time you get near the front.

Is there anyway to move up the starting grid?

Nope. You'll always be starting from last place.
