Real Time Effects on a Mac Pro

So after months of berating, my boss has finally decided to loose the piece of **** PC he is on now, and jumper over to a Mac Pro. He wants to continue using Prem Pro CS3 though. He currently has a Matrox Axio set-up which he uses for real time effects. Speed, saturation, proc amp, etc.

On the Mac, I'm only familar with products that offer the same or similar features for Final Cut. Is anyone aware of anything similar to the Matrox that is Mac compatible for prem pro?
 
The Matrox MXO 2 would give similar I/O options as the Axio, but it doesn't provide any hardware acceleration for RT effects. Rumor has it that AJA is going to start making releasing PPro versions of their cards, but no one knows when. AFAIK, PPro for the Mac doesn't have hardly any 3rd party hardware support.
