Well, today was my first full day with the Apple Watch, and I have to say I am pleased with the battery life! I've been playing with it a lot (obviously) and yet, I'm pretty much done for the day and there's still 36% remaining. Not bad at all!!

How is everyone else doing with the battery?

I'm at 64% after leaving on 100% last night at 8pm, power reserve at 3am, off power reserve at 10am and it's now 1.30pm.

Not bad.

just checking...so today is the first full day with my watch (42mm ss)
started at about 8am with 100%
haven't really messed around with it at all. a few notifications/imessages and now at 2pm, I'm at 86%
does this seen normal with little to light use?

perhaps i should look at my settings.

In 6 hours you have used just 14%, at that rate your battery will take nearly 43 hours to reach 0%!! Considering they advertise it as 18 hour battery life I would say that's pretty good.

Reactions: Night Spring
Can't speak for today just yet, but yesterday I used it all day. Got my Watch and started using it around noon. Had 80% battery out of the box I think, and I played around with it a bit and then went off to work. Checked time a lot. Showed it off a little bit to some co-workers. Came home, went out to eat, hung out with some friends, and came home once more to retire for the night at around 1:30 AM.

So, about 13 and a half hours, and I was down to 40%, which means I used 40% in that time. Considering I did a lot of messing around that I wouldn't normally do on an average day, that's amazing. Around 70% brightness and full strength haptic feedback.

12 hours. 65% charged

Incredible!

48mm SS

Wow, that's impressive!

Last night I enabled the "Reduce Transparency" option in the Accessibility settings as I think it looks nicer - I'm hoping that making that change will improve battery life even more.

12.5 hours 38% and used it pretty often during the day.

Not worried about getting through a day. Between that and 6+ it's nice to not worry about battery usage. Plugging everything in at night is just normal to me.

42mm SS

Going on 14 hours with my 42mm and I'm at 53%. I'm rather impressed. So far so good. I've been playing with it a ton too.

Took mine off charge at 7am this morning. Around 9 it was at 90% and I went for a 1 hour run. That run basically burned through 30% of battery (leaving it at 60%). I left it on the charger while showering after the run. That brought it up to 85%. Been using it moderately (or heavily even) all day, now, 9pm it's at 6%.

It was plugged in a bit while showering, but it's showing 14 hours standby with 8 hours usage.

I put mine on this morning (about 13 hours ago). I've used it pretty regularly today. I did 2 hours of navigation. Checked notifications and replied as normal. Checked up on the baseball game throughout the game. Had a 15 minute phone conversation. I'm currently at 72%. Very impressed.
