The Photoshop Super resolution is tests the AI/ML capabilities of the chip which I found to be really interesting. In this test the M1 Air took 13 seconds to complete. The intel i7 took 10 minutes, this test shows the real usage of the Nurual Engine found in the M1.
It does really make an impact.
Go to 13:12 to see the AI/ML test. The other tests are impressive too and the M1 does beat the i7. The battery life at end of these tests shows the M1 Air to have a HUGE lead. By the end the i7 Huawai laptop( has a 56Wr battery) had 15% battery life and the M1 Air(has a 46Wr battery) had 62%.
The M1 Air when speced the same as the Matebook is £1,599, 16GB/1TB. But the £999 M1 Air will also beat the MateBook X Pro.
