macOS REALbasic textbox trouble

Aye, I have a multi-line textbox. A new line of text gets added to it every now and then. I'd like it to automatically scroll so that the most recently added line of text is at the bottom of the field (Instant Messenger Style). Is there a way to do this so that it works on both Mac and PC?
