I downloaded part of a movie, from a website (i am buying it when it comes out on dvd here, if that ever happens :mad: )

anyway, the sound for the movie lags behind the video a few seconds. Anyone know a way to move the sound back so it is in-time with the file?

(using basic apps, ie: iMovie)

Also sorry if this isnt the right spot for this.
 
Would love to know the answer to this too. Made a documentary with some friends for uni and it plays in fcp perfectly synced but, when we were given the final piece in quicktime format, it is noticeably out of sync which is really annoying.
