Been a long time lurker, this is my first post =)

I have been a long time razer fan and have used the mice since the first boomslang came out. I switched to mac last year and have always struggled with razers, specifically in games on my mac- to the point where I play all games in windows! The problem is accuracy, on the mac it's just... well, wonky. It's almost impossible to describe, but it's there. I simply cannot play games like quake3 or 4 because of little inconsistencies in movement or mouse acceleration or something. The same mouse motion never does the same thing twice, it's ever so slightly different-- very frustrating. I use the razer proclick 1.67 software, but I have this weird feeling that it is competing with the default mouse settings. I don't know how to disable them so the razer software takes over completely.. Been searching for a month for someone who is having this problem and I just can't find anything

I put my post here because this has to be a software issue, and it's not game specific. The mouse works flawlessly when I boot up XP. Please please, if anyone has any inkling about what to try I am all ears!

Cheers
