I spent a lot of time removing the composer entry from all albums except classical and then modifying the classical composer tags to make them uniform.
For some reason, iTunes keeps making changes. For about 5 or 6 albums (all downloaded from iTunes), it keeps putting back the composers for each song. I go back and either delete or revise the composer tag and within a few days, iTunes puts them back. Some albums get "reverted" every time. But there are also new albums each time.
I do have iTunes Match but I've turned it off.
Is there a setting to stop this? Something to tell iTunes to keep it's paws off what I've done?
