I had a "close encounter" with an iPhone 4 this morning. I was on a "supposed" list for an iPhone 4 at Radio Shack. They called around 9 AM, but did not leave a message. I didn't notice the missed call even though I am working from home until about 12:30. I called back and they told me they sold my phone. What good was a list? Really?
I know I will get one eventually, but no Apple stores are close to me in CT. I would prefer to buy at an Apple store or from Apple anyway. I will be in NYC next week and can hopefully get one there at one of the Apple stores. But Radio Shack just ensured I will NEVER buy anything from them again!
Just had to vent. I figured some folks who were on lists at Radio Shack would want to know how this was handled. I know all stores are different. This was the Radio Shack on Whalley Ave in New Haven, CT.
