Hello,

I tried to convert videos from mkv to M4V format (with h.264 and AAC codecs) in order to look at them on my iPad 2, with burned in subtitles via the application Handbrake.

This worked when I synced the resulting videos with iTunes on my iPad.

But now I want to use the Photo Connection Kit to put the videos on a SD Card, and then import the videos from the SD card to the iPad.

I managed copying the videos but they are only reachable via the Photo application and not the Videos one, hence I cannot activate/deactivate the subtitles.

Now I would like to know how to really burn in the subtitles (meaning definitely merge the subtitles with movie pictures).

Could anyone please lead me to software that can do that ? (the "burned in" option in Handbrake just put the subtitles as a text track that can be activated/deactivated)

Thanks in advance,
Take care
