Thought others might be interested to hear about just how powerful the web browser can be on Apple Watch.
I was sent a feedback email from Audible. I opened that email in the new mail app that can view HTML emails. I clicked a little button to submit some more feedback and to my delight that feedback page was VERY usable on the watch.
I was able to select the various checkboxes/radio buttons to indicate my rating. And to my greater surprise a tapped on a text box on that survey page and what comes up is the text entry screen on the watch that allows you to dictate or scribble! I dictated out a nice lengthy response and hit submit.
Pretty astonishing that the web implementation is more than a simple view only, but I was able to take action on this webpage and complete a full out form!
Attached is a screenshot of that submission for those curious. (Was writing in about a little bug that’s forgetting playhead position in the new watch app).
