Things such as:

- LOST
- Weeds
- SVU
- Flashforward (APPARENTLY wasn't TOO big ABC! Jerks didn't even give the show a chance to grow.)
- Modern Family

And I don't really mean shows that are just the same genre as these... I mean shows that are just all around great. I'm not necessarily looking for your favorite shows based on your personal opinion. Most of the shows I listed can be recognized as "leading" shows by most people, even if it isn't a show that you particularly like.

After proof-reading this even I am having trouble figuring out what I am trying to say so hopefully you get the just of my post. Simply put: What are some really great "big" shows on TV right now. Preferably (but not limited to) new shows. Now that ABC has torn a chunk of my soul out by ending LOST, I need a new addiction.

Thanks!

Look at this new series premiere! Could this have answered my want ANY better?! LOL.

"The Event" (NBC; premieres Sept. 20). Do you miss "Lost"? Do you wish last season's "FlashForward" had been better? Check out "The Event," the lone new entry in the serial thriller genre. Boasting a large ensemble cast, far-flung locations and helter-skelter time sequence, "The Event" demands a week-to-week commitment for the viewer to have any chance of making sense of the conspiracy that rages at its core.

Fate at it's best, lol.

@No1nfoProvided:
Dexter looks good! I'll give it a shot. I also think I might like "No Ordinary Family" premiering soon. It seems that it WILL be hit or miss. Hopefully it isn't tacky. If this show is meant to be a comedy then I believe it will fail. If not, I think I will really enjoy it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6mDukZLfuz0. Also. I've only read a review of "Person's Unknown". It looks great and the season ended last week. It seems however, that there will not be another season to come (as far as my googling can tell)... I just can't get hooked on a show that will not continue on... it kills me.

Anyone else? Thanks!
