On the Apple screen upon startup, I'm there between 1-5 minutes, and the blue screen can take twice to three times as long. I'm not sure what's going on here, because I've repaired permissions, done a clean install of OS X Snow Leopard, etc. Once I'm off the blue screen, my desktop appears suddenly.
It's not really much of a problem, but it's not made it impossible to, say, upgrade to Lion. I tried and after 12 hours it STILL wasn't off the Apple screen. So... I'm really unsure of what to do from here. Any help would be MUCH appreciated.
