I recently bought a new iphone to replaced my original iphone that i bought on launch day.

i noticed the speakers were waaaaaaaay different.

My new iphone's speaker is really loud compared to the original one and it has the 5 series lcd.

currently my ringer volume is at 4 bars instead of max bars like on my original. Even at max volume my old iphone speaker wasnt even as loud as new one at 1 bar?

anyone else notice this?

im not complaining though, i like the loud ringer...im just wondering if i suffered for so long and i didnt realize i had a defective phone maybe?

not too happy about the lcd though...the contrast and colors were better on my 7 series lcd. sure there were white spots but that wasnt even noticable.

didnt notice a difference in the earpiece volume though.

Is the call volume louder or just the ringer?

just the ringer...i dont remember if the call volume is louder.

then again i only notice the low call volume when im in a bar or a train station.

the ringer is satisfyingly and borderline annoying loud.
