really need some help deciding where to purchase black iP4

Seeing as how the white iPhone is being delayed again I now am going to purchase a black one. I go out of town August 15 which puts me right before the "3 weeks" apple says on there website.

Is it a true 3 weeks? or less or more?
Does the apple store receive shipments on a certain day where I can walk in and get one?
Likewise for ATT store? or Bestbuy?

I ordered mine from Apple on July 4 and should have it next Tuesday, a couple of days ahead of schedule, but not much. I know a couple of people who have ordered through AT&T and gotten them in about a week, but no guarantees. I chose to buy through Apple because if I have a problem I trust Apple to go out of their way to make it right.

Check your local Walmart. They tend to have a lot in stock according to posts on these forums.

Best Buy gets shipments everyday at 2pm here.. they don't know if they are going to get any phones so you just have to call after 2.

I walked in to Walmart and picked up 2 phones.. just got lucky.

Just went to an AT&T store and they said 10-14 days, but he told me that its routinely been a business week.

On one of the front page news stories (I think), there was a rumor that Apple was getting a significantly increased stock this weekend.
