iPod touch Really nerdy "game" we came up with at work today

I was at work today, and the guy I work with (OK, work FOR) asked me if I had my new iPod. I said yeah, pulled it out, and handed it to him. He started playing around with it, got to my "artists" list, and started flicking. He then wanted to see how far he could flick through the artists. He got to Rage Against The Machine, and handed it to me to try. I beat him, but not by much. I got to the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus.

I was then showing it off to some friends at a bar on our weekly wings night outing, (pre wings of course!) and we did the same thing. I ended up getting through the whole list on one flick!

How nerdy is THAT?!

Funny, I did this as well today... :confused:

Anyway, 8 gig, but with a ton of artists, I can get through in about 5 swipes.
 
Sounds like something I'd do … pity I have 14 GB of music and can't justify a "nearly full" Touch!

I didn't know you could change the speed :confused:

And I don't know how many artists I have, I don't feel like counting. Is there another way to find out??

We stepped it up a bit, and changed it to song mode after 3 of us got through the artist list, that was WAY harder. We were getting to Mid-C's and D's (of course, this was later in the night, after a few drinkies :))
 
haha ive done that, just sneek a touch on the "Z" on the right and you get people everytime haha

to know how many artist you have, in music, select artists at the bottom and scroll down past your last artist and it should say "--- Artists"


but how do you change the speed?
 
Brilliant idea, sounds like a great game to play with friends. I will have to try it....when I get my touch :)

Lol OP, I have those same artists. I have too many songs to do in one flick... I'll see how far I can get
