So I noticed one difference from the 4 to the 4S is that they no longer include a SIM ejection tool. You would think since they are advertising it as a world phone you would need this but I guess not. Had to go dig out my iPhone 4 box to get one to swap SIMs. Good thing I keep everything!

I got one with mine.

Edit: I'm in the UK and purchased direct from Apple

I would give apple a call. I fell like it should have one. Perhaps during production for whatever reason it missed that stage.

We got one in each of the iPhone 4S 64GB Black, 16GB Black and 16GB White boxes. Maybe you did not look hard enough?

Individually they don't cost much, but multiply that by the number of phones they are going to sell and it probably saves some money. I'm guessing most people never use them anyway.

A paperclip works well too.

Same could be said about the Apple stickers in the box. I think I have 10 or 12 of them, not used and never likely to be used. I'd rather a sim tool than a pair of Apple stickers...

This is not new to the 4s. The iPhone 4 did not get one either on the US models. They are locked to one carrier anyway. You don't have a paperclip?

Big savings when you sell them by the millions.

Of all the times I've ever ejected the SIM tray on any of my previous iPhones, I've used the tool approximately never. Why go searching when there are hundreds of perfectly good paperclips right on my desk? :p

Was your iPhone 4 a US-spec model? US phones haven't had the tool since the 3GS. Maybe you moved your 3G/3GS tool into the 4 box?

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't the 3GS the last ATT version to come with one?

Im not at home but I'm confident there wasn't one included with the IP4.

I think you can pick up a 100 count pack of SIM ejector tools at Staples for a dollar.
