I have managed to install the library from iPhotos to the new photos app. All the photos were 93,000. I have seen some improvement in speed compared to iPhoto but it is still really sluggish for me. I think there might be something (a corrupted file maybe) that is causing the issue.
Is there anyway I can find out what is causing the problem?
Also, is there a way to combine 2 albums in photos app? In iPhoto you could simply drag an album on top of another and you could combine them but it doesn't seem to be working with photos.
