I love Apple and the ecosystem as well as iPhone, only phone I’ve ever had (every phone since the 3G).

However, I don’t know what the issue is but I’m tired of having to restart my iPhone to fix issues. Specifically the damn top speaker no longer working. I’m hard of hearing so when this stops working, I notice it and I also miss things. It’s annoying as hell. Recently whenever I asked Siri to set a timer, it showed nowhere it should. Lock screen, notifications, nowhere. I had to ask her to show me my timers. A restart fixed this.

Last but not least, I recently used apple maps to route to a simple known destination. Twice, two different places. Each time, it wasn’t even close. I had to go back to google maps which was spot on.

I just don’t understand why they can’t get their **** right??

honestly they have gotten bad in the last couple years. They happen so often, I just forget they are even bugs and just live with them. Happens on my Mac too. iPhone XS freezes up sometimes (which is scary when we're talking about an all screen phone), a lot of ignored taps, etc. No idea what is going on at Apple regarding quality, but there is definitely something up.

I give you that they have a bunch of bugs as these devices get more advanced. But the other side is no better. Pixel is the most highly regarded android device and yet it has issues with ram management, speaker distortion, photos and texts disappearing, etc. Consumers have come to expect manufacturers to push the limits of the tech on an annual basis without them pausing. iOS 12 addressed a ton of issues that had lingered for a while, and hopefully over the next few 12.x releases, things will smooth over.
