iPod touch Really weird; Apple has not charged me?

Hey everyone; so kinda a weird situation..

I ordered the iPod Touch the day it was released; (Sept 1st) and it's already shipped and is in the US. However, I have yet to be charged by Apple. Will they charge my account once it arrives? Or is this an error?? Should I contact Apple?

It happens fairly frequently that they just pre-authorize the transaction, and what for whatever occasion to withdraw money from your credit card.

They did this on my last iTunes purchase, Paypal also does it.

EDIT: they still haven't charged me my iTunes purchase, which I did 5 days ago.
