I had to turn control center off in apps because it was far too annoying to have on during games.

now I have no way to control my ipod music when in apps.

anyone else wish it was still implemented the old way? This is one of the ONLY things i dislike about IOS7

double tap to get to multitasking, then swipe up.

This is the same number of actions as previous iOS, double tapping and swiping to the side.

You only need to swipe up to get to the iPod controls ie control centre, double tapping is a separate command, multi tasking.

Ah I see, so it's a kind of work around. Turn of control centre in apps but still accessible through multitask

personally, control centre is a hit or miss for me.. especially when a keyboard is up.

When the keyboard is up you have to swipe your finger all the way above the top of the keyboard.

The OS doesn't recognize swipes on top of the keyboard but if you do it fast enough it'll recognize it when above the keyboard.
