RealPlayer crash on launch

Just downloaded RealPlayer 11.1 to replace my 11.0 installation and after setting up the app now crashes on launch. Have tried reinstalling about 10 times from different download sources to no avail.

Kind of urgent as need to watch an .rmvb for an exam.

Have you tried playing the video in VLC?
