Moderators : I thought this important enough to deserve it's own thread but feel free to move it.
I live in Japan and picked up a LB-Link USB WiFi dongle for ¥1,000 including sales tax ( about US$9.80. For my flashed cMP 5,1.
The LB-Link model is " BL-WN2210 "
The LB-Link Mac drivers only go up to Lion 10.7.
The D-Link "DWA-171 rev A1" driver works with this dongle in HS10.13.0.
( I haven't had time to test it with HS 10.13.1 - think I'll wait for HS 10.13.2.)
The driver can be downloaded here http://support.dlink.com/ProductInfo.aspx?m=DWA-171
The driver comes with an uninstaller - you may have to disable SIP first. The driver is supposedly good up to Sierra but it is definitely working in High Sierra 10.13.2.
