Hey All,

So I'm on a Mac Pro (late 2013) running 10.9.5.

My desktop icons do this periodically throughout the day.

Does anyone know why this happens? Also, if it helps diagnose the problem, every time the computer boots up, (from a restart or cold boot) the desktop wallpaper on Monitor 1 (i have two monitors), always resets to a grey background, and the wallpaper on Monitor 2, stays the same.

This is because the bar at the bottom pushes the file up. If you right(2finger click) on the wall paper and select desktop setting you should be able to change.
