I'm trying to install Reason 3.0 but everytime I double click on the Reason icon, it say REX system could not be installed because access to the global applicaion support folder was denied!
I'm using a macbook pro by the way.
It also says try running the disk utility and repair permission.
Anyone know why this is occuring?
I also have the reason 3.0.5 UB update, but I cant even get that far to install the update.
I had the program installed on my HD before it failed & they gave me a new HD.....now I cant install Reason on it because of the error mssg.
Can anyone here please assist me with this issue???
Thank you!!!:)

to repair permissions you have to go to:
/Applications/Utilities

there will be a program called Disk Utility, open it and select your HD, then push Repair Disk Permissions.

I've tried to repair my disk utilities by taking those exact steps.....but still no progress!!!
What a bummer!!

are you using little snitch by any chance?

try downloading diskwarrior to make the repairs.

I actually have the real copy of Reason.
I dont have little snitch on my computer :)
Does disk warrior work better than disk utility repair?
Thanks for the suggestion by the way.
Gonna download it now!
