I have an iPhone 4 that is basically like new except for the cracked glass on the front. I have an OtterBox case on it that makes it usable.

I've thought about trying to get the glass fixed but I'm eligible for an upgrade and considering going up to a 5 and selling my 4 to offset the cost. But I'm not sure what a fair price would be to ask for it.

The glass is only cracked at the bottom of the screen, mostly in the bottom right corner, and a single almost unnoticable crack in the upper left corner. Otherwise I've taken good care of it.

How many GB ?

iPhone 4 prices start at around $250 (for a 8GB Version) and up, this varies week to week, a new glass front in my area is $99, so im pretty sure you would have to deduct something for the screen.

2-250
Proving it is unlocked is key for a good price

cant unlock an verizon iphone 4, theres no SIM slot....so its going to be for a verizon customer only.

i agree, as long as the screen is replaced, for about $60 from icracked, the phone should bring in around $200-$225.

if it remains cracked, i wouldnt give more than $130-$150 knowing i need to then spend the cheese to repair it myself.

Cool. I ordered that exact kit earlier today.

I'm assuming if I wait around for the next version of the 5, that price will go down.

I appreciate everyone's input on this!

the icracked kits are the only ones ive used, they are high quality....good choice. and when you do sell, make sure you declare that the screen was replaced by yourself, its only fair since it will void any kind of warranty the phone has, if it still does for whatever reason. in addition, its just the right thing to do, especially if the new owner needs to take it to apple for any reason, they should be able to tell it was opened and repaired not by them.

Ooh, I must have skipped over the verizon only part.
If that's the case I wouldn't pay more than mid $100's for it.

the going rate for a verizon iphone 4, 32gb is still in the same $200 range as an at&t one. the sale will just be a tad harder to make since its for a less diversified range of people.
