I would desperately appreciate some justifications for selling my iBook on EBay and buying a MacBook. I've wanted to for years and whilst my aging iBook is getting a bit slow I've never had any real need for a MacBook. Anyone who owns one, please tell me it is worth it! What I could come up with:

- Faster Windows virtualization/dual boot
- Better graphics for games (except for the whole GMA 950 thing most of my games will run better])
- iPhone SDK!
- Faster performance all around (for applications/HD video)
- Can use apps like Office 2008/iDVD that don't run well on my current notebook
- Faster wireless networking
- Bigger screen

There must be some other advantages to a MacBook, right?

Thanks to anyone who reads/responds.

I did exactly that 6 months ago and it is so much faster! No pinwheels
anymore either. I figured, based on benchmarks, that it is about 600%
faster.

You're version of OS X (Tiger or Leopard) will run better, and be able to take advantage of the hardware. Same holds true for when Snow Leopard comes out.
