Rebate worries

I was just beginning the process of filling out my rebate redemption forms for my printer as well as my iPod when something incredibly obvious occurred to me. BOTH offers require the upc from my iBook!

I've heard others mention using both of these rebates, so I don't believe I'm alone. I need help deciding what to do though.

The worst-case scenario would be submitting the iPod rebate and calling Apple to get the printer rebate as online store credit (I've heard of this being done pretty readily).....

What should I do? Has anyone else come across this?

I haven't done it myself, but it seems like plenty of members here have gotten away w/ a photocopy of hte UPC being sent w/ the printer rebate annd the real one sent in w/ the iPod one. For future referrence, you can try a search (I entered, "UPC, rebate" and popped out at me-- but there are lots of other relevant threads.
