I just installed a new 160GB western digital hard drive into my desktop PC, and now when I try to boot it says "Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key"..... I read that the problem might be the priority of the boot devices in the Bios, but I went into the Bios boot priority and my hard drives werent there, just my floppy drive and my cd drive...

Can someone help me fix this? Thanks.

Also, when I unplug the new hard drive, the computer boots up perfectly on just the old hard drive. I also set the primary boot to the old hard drive and it still doesn't boot.

When I try going into bios before boot with the new hard drive in, it doesn't seem to detect my new or old hard drive. Why?

Should I be installing some driver or changing some setting in the bios before adding a new hard drive? Im new to this, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
