With the 'iPad Mini' coming online it's the perfect time to get rid of the terrible branding of the iPod Touch!!!
(never liked it)

Make it: iPad Nano !!!! :D

Much more inline with Apple's true branding scheme....and more appropriate!!

I agree, "iPod touch" is somewhat outmoded. Almost every iPod sold has a touchscreen now, there's no reason to qualify it as a touchscreen. (the shuffle doesn't count :p)

I don't think they'd get away with calling it an iPad, though, since it's gone its entire life being called an iPod, and iPad apps are a different class.

I say once they squeeze 128gb of storage into an iPod touch, just discontinue the classic and call it simply "iPod".
