i bought an "ilap" for my macbook a couple of years ago. I really like it. It is not very portable, but it is great for around the home. I just bought a Macbook pro last week and bought a ilap to use with it. I think it is great. Very comfortable on the lap. Keep me cool. Gives me wrist support. Allows air to circulate around the laptop.
