Recalibrate Watch switching phones

when I first got watch went on a 20 min outdoor run to calibrate it to help my watch be more accurate. I have a 6S plus now going to 7 plus did the info store in my watch or phone? If Watch do I recalibrate, with new phone if stored in phone of course I got to recalibrate.
