So I have a July 06 Macbook. (black)
And as some of you know, some of those batteries (most) were jacked. Anyways, I moved overseas and now the "Mac Service Center" here won't replace my battery for 2 reasons.

1. I cannot find my receipt (even though the machine was released July 06 and has the recall battery extended for 2 years, meaning it's good for up to July 08).

2. Which is the more important one according to him. I didn't buy it from a local store (I'm in the middle east now and I purchased my macbook in Canada).

They refuse to replace my battery what so ever. Even if I offered to pay for the "shipping" of the new battery from Canada. It's becoming ridiculous because I'm running out of cycles (to reach the 300 limit according to the claim requirements).

So anyway, do you guys have any suggestions on what I can do, who I can take this up with?
I've had these jerks bug me and charge me for about a bunch of other things (I own 4 Mac's) but this one is completely ridiculous and I don't wanna shell out the money for a new battery (as I believe, I shouldn't have to).

I understand the receipt issue. But I've read so many peoples claims where they helped them replace the battery no questions asked.
