Hey does anyone know any good web hosting services.

I am looking for the services software has a password to access PARTS of the site. Does .Mac have that capabilty? Any other reliable services?

Thanks

ipowerweb.com is reliable and cheap. 8/month for 800mb space, 500 emails, ftp, perl/php/mysql

they run freebsd servers with apache/php/mysql.

they also have windows servers but they give you less space.

lunarpages.com

doteasy.com's ultra package isnt half bad either..

www.boss-hosting.com

I just signed up with these based on a recommendation from a couple of guys from work. The normal packages are pretty good, but they're offering amazing deals on eBay link at $9/year. That includes php/mySQl support and you can password any directory you want too. I've been impressed so far.

A Small Orange is fantastic, and quite a few members here will testify to that since I have referred quite a few people to them. Great prices, features, and fantastic support. Check them out.

You sold me on it, and I've been very happy with their service/support/prices.

a third vote for A Small Orange. great plans & pricing, and fantastic customer service.

I use www.2jdhosting.com .. It has full cpanel control.. MySQL. and you can also password protect folders.. Best of all.. The tech support is top notch.. I got the owner on my AIM buddy list.. any problem or even HTML or SQL questions I have I just pester him and he will take time to help out...
