Receive SMS Through Bluetooth

I've been searching around recently and have been trying to find software that connects to my phone over Bluetooth and display incoming texts/calls through something like Growl.

If cars, such as the Prius and the Ford Sync system, can do this, why not computers? It seems like there should be something out there...

I currently have a Palm Pre. After looking up the Ford Sync system, it looks like it only works with phones that support the MAP protocol, which WebOS does not support.
