I have copied all the POP3 settings exactly, from the Yahoo! help section - yet Mail still refuses to retrieve my messages.

1. Go to "Mail."
2. Select "Preferences."
3. Select the BT Yahoo! account and choose "Edit Account."
4. Select the "Account Information" tab.
5. Choose "Options."
6. Beside "Authentication," select "Password."
7. Click "OK."
For earlier versions of MacMail:
1. Go to "Mail."
2. Select "Preferences."

5. Tick the box next to "Use authentication when sending mail."

Well... I've had the account for around a year I think, but as I couldn't remember exactly what I did, I created another one before I posted so I could post the steps...josh.thomas said:Hmmm, how long have you had your account

.co.uk Accounts are eligible for POP access, .com is not. And it cannot be swapped over either.
