iPod touch received 16gb ipod touch as a gift

As the title says, this weekend I got a 16gb Ipod touch as a gift, but I have around 30 gbs of video and music, so I would prefer to be able to trade up and get a 32gb and pay the extra $100. Would Apple let me do that at a retail store?

Yeah, I'm so glad I got the 32gb iPod Touch. I have about 10gb or so of music, but plan to put some movies on there since they are coming with my blu-ray discs (so far, I got Hulk on it). Over time, I can see it filling up.
