First time I ordered two usb power charger and they sent me an extra. This time I ordered 60w power supply and they sent me extra.

Is there a program or incentive they are having now?

I'll send it back if it was a mistake.

tia,

Ring them up and explain the situation, you never know, they might allow you to keep it, I think if you don't report it to them they can press charges, or charge your card if they find out, even though it's their mistake, had the same problem with a company called CCL computing once, very frustrating.

Apple sent me display adapters on accident and charged my card for them. When I called to arrange for their return, they said they'd refund the $ but that I could go ahead and keep the adapters :)
Off to eBay they will go...

also

i ordered another product, an iphone case. this wasn't apple but it was from DLO. they sent me another case by accident. they contacted me the next day and said i could keep the extra case at no charge. i dont think apple can legally charge you or take back the extra product unless you consent to it. but what do i know?

...if they sent it to you, they have to prove you ordered it...

I get food for my restaurant shipped to the base I'm stationed in Japan all the time and to ship a perishable item back would cost more than the item in most cases - we come to terms we both agree on and I can keep the item.

The other day, my friend ordered a chocolate bean frapuccino from Starbucks. She ordered it hot, but the guy who made it gave her a cold one. They made another one hot and let her keep the cold one. If they took it back, they can't sell it again, so why not make the customer extra happy? Good marketing iny my books. But contact MacStore to check.

I'm pretty sure that, legally speaking, there is to need to return it or even make them aware they sent you an extra. Would be wise toresearch it yourself though. I am a law student and I'm pretty sure we went over this in my contracts class.

...karma, let the store know they sent you something in error and they can send you a post paid box to ship it back - they may let you keep it for doing the right thing... someone will get in trouble when their inventory of parts is short and they can't find it (thinking someone at the store stole it)....

I've had similar things happen to me in the past; often times, the retailer allows me to keep the items. When I'm asked to mail them back, however, I always do (unless, of course, they won't pay for the return shipping).

Same here. It's just the right thing to do.
