I am traveling abroad and have been in airplane mode for about a week now. Yet I wake up this morning to see that I have a (visual) voicemail loaded on my phone! No missed call or anything. I have been pretty constantly connected to wifi though.

I should also add that the voicemail had a time stamp of 4 days ago, which is still 3 days after I turned on airplane mode.

The same thing happened to my girlfriend a few days ago too. How is this possible? Are visual voicemails starting to get pushed through wifi or is this some kind of iPhone bug?

iPhone 6 and 6S, iOS 9.1
