As all iPhone users should know, when our phone is unlocked and a call comes in, there will be an option to Accept (green button) or Reject (Red button).

But whilst the phone is locked, there is only a slide to answer button. Is there anyway to actually reject the call. I know that I can press one of the volume buttons to stop the ringtone and vibration, but the call is actually not rejected yet.

If there really isn't a way, then I guess there should be an improvement on this.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks.

You can use the sleep/awake button. First press turns the ringtone off, second press rejects the call. Hope this helps!

what Doc said. just push the sleep/wake button twice. i do it all the time esp when i get blocked/unknown calls. been doing that since the first iPhone came out in 2007
