Receiving and sending SMS / iMessage on Windows

Hi, a couple of days looking for a program that will notify me of the receipt of messages and response capabilities on Windows (something like on Yosemite). I'm not interested programs that I have to invite friends to converse with them, just the usual text messages and iMessage from iPhone. Please help and thank you in advance for your reply.

No solutions exist for iMessage on Windows, because it's proprietary.

What you're looking for is Handoff, and that only exists in Yosemite.

Your carrier might offer something for SMS potentially. As far as iMessage that doesn't exist outside Apple's own platform. Perhaps one day they might make it available on iCloud online.
