I had a problem recently with my contacts. I wanted all my contacts on iCloud.

I had a problem, and sometimes I text from the computer and sometimes from my phone. I learnt that not all of my contacts are on iCloud. It explained why on the computer in the Messages app some messages just displayed a number.

Here's what I did:

1) I added all my contacts via the Contacts app on the computer.
2) Deleted contacts from my phone
3) Disabled and enabled contacts in iPhone settings to download contacts.
4) Waited an hour and I still didn't have the contacts.
5) Restarted the phone without the results I wanted.
6) Transfered all contacts from the computer to the iPhone via AirDrop.
7) I guess contacts downloaded later because now I have linked contacts.

Now whenever I receive a message it only goes to the computer, but not my phone. When I send a message from the phone it appears on both computer and iPhone. When I send a message from the computer it doesn't show up on the phone.

Currently on iOS 8.4. :/

EDIT: How can I edit the title? :'(

I fixed it by deleting contacts, and adding again. :/ I also turned off iMessage on the computer, and on the phone. I wonder what fixed it.

Now I have another problem, the Text Message Forwarding option is not showing up on my iPhone. I can't text a regular number from the computer.
