So i just received my new IPhone 3GS.
I currently have an Itouch 3g 32gb.
I have Itunes on my work Desktop.
My Itunes account and library is on my laptop at home.
I want to activate my Iphone now.
Is it possible to do the following
Connect to Itunes on my work desktop and active phone?
when i take my iphone home.
I want to do a backup of my Itouch and restore to my Iphone.
is all this possible, what problems may I encounter?

1) Return phone and wait 2 weeks for iPhone 4?

(You should be able to activate it at work; when you get home if you try to sync it, it will probably want to erase existing data and sync with your home computer which is what you want.)

Oh but i'm not sure about backing up your iPOD touch and then restoring that data to your iphone.

Exchanging

I will be exchanging the phone in 2 weeks when 4 comes out!
cost is 20.00
