Hi,

I turn off my wifi connection on my ipod, but I still receive push notifications... Why is this happening? (Bluetooth is turned off too.)

And I tested to see if wifi works when the wifi tab is selected to "off" and Safari wont connect to the Internet. So why am I still receiving push notifications?

what apps are giving you notifications/what kinds of notifications? some apps use local notifications that don't need a wifi connection.
